Today’s episode of Lucious is the first of what I hope to be many videos written by Chico Mahalo, the author of the blog “The Fork”. You need eight minutes to watch this, so if you don’t have the time now, bookmark it and come back when you do. It’s one thing to write a really good blog, but it’s entirely another thing to write a good script, and though he complains of being rusty, this piece, being the first one out of the gates is phenomenal, and a harbinger of good things to come.
I’d also like to extend a shout out to the Nomenclat, the author of Monkey Eggs, for jumping on board with the Lucious project. I already possess in my hands a copy of a soundtrack just submitted by Nomenclat yesterday, that will be appearing in an upcoming Lucious video.
Many of the people who regularly read this blog are either great writers, or are really creative people in general. I see the value of Lucious and I am also well aware of the effect that collaborations are already having upon Lucious. This is the last time that I will ask for your contributions to the project, not because I’m being nasty, because I really do not want to beat a dead horse. This includes that scumbag David Drake who is “incredibly busy right now”, but yet has Hollywood blood coursing through his veins.
So without further adieu, here is the handwork of Lucious and Mahalo.

Lucious Sings
I hope everyone had a very safe holiday, whether you celebrate them or not. The way that people drive during these times is absolutely amazing and warrants wishing even non-participants a safe holiday. I was in the Rochester area a bit before the big day and the spirit of Christmas was everywhere you looked on the roads.
Some people were driving on sidewalks; every third car would cut you off, or allow you to plow into them if you did not stop. The age-old middle finger was frequently deployed, and verbal insults were hurled so often, one could easily think they had become standard holiday greetings.
They say we are supposed to be nice to each other on Christmas, but I cannot see any of these drivers being any different. I can see them pulling loaded weapons on family members whom managed to reach the butter tray before them. This brings up just how backwards we are, as shouldn’t we instead, have one day a year where we treat everyone like crap, and spend the other 364 days being nice? We have it inside-out my friends.
Well hopefully this new installment of Lucious should pick up your spirits after dealing with family members and roadway terrorists. I am tied up with a production run on a few episodes, but I am eager to get out and see what all of you good people have plastered on your sites, and should be able to do so this weekend. In the meantime, thanks for all the kind comments you people left on this blog, and stay low, they may still have ammunition left.

That time of year again
I am roughly 24 hours away from my standard holiday vacation. Not everybody celebrates the Christmas holidays, and some people celebrate these holidays and have hardly a clue as to what they are all about, but that’s perfectly fine with me. I completely shut down and spend time with my family, which is pretty much what I’ve always done.
I want to make a special note on the Duncan Hunter blooper. I have not dropped that cause, it is just that I learned volumes from my involvement in the YouTube porn scandal a little over a year ago. The main thing I learned is you do not stop the whole program and myopically focus on that one thing.
If you do that, something will happen like Google swooping in and buying whoever or what ever the offending item is, and your wheels are turning with no place left to put them down for traction. The Duncan Hunter blooper is still up and growing in hits each day. My attitude is to let it grow all the way up to the conventions, and I intend to use Luscious to draw attention to the Duncan Hunter blooper, as much as possible, while having fun along the way.
I plan on continuing the series with Luscious when I return, and not that I will not write anything for this blog, but I came over to this blog when I left Less Idiots so that I could just have fun. Right now, I am enjoying this little walk through the garden with a cat costume. In the last 48 hours I have added a musician, and another writer to the production team that now numbers four. I am looking for more people to become involved, and that includes David Drake, if he ever gets over being torqued-off at me. If you are interested in the Lucious project, send me an email, and we will talk it over.
I am going to leave you with a little Christmas song from Luscious with my hopes that each and every one of you survives the holidays with all of your facilities intact. I will spare each and every one of you of any spiritually related comments, because not everyone believes as I do. I just wish everybody else felt that way, because then and only then, our Constitution might be worth the paper it’s written on.

Sergey Brin and his plan to destroy the world
I have obtained some important information about Sergey Brin and his evil plans with the Chinese government. They were smuggled to me by a dying Tibetan monk, who with his last words begged me to save humanity from the diabolical plot designed by Brin, one of the original founders of Google.
I’ve put his video up risking great potential harm to myself in an attempt to warn the rest of you while there’s still time left. I’m truly sorry this had to come to you during the all-important holidays for large American retailers, but as there was little time left, I had no other choice.
Watch this, and stop Sergey Brin and his evil plan from becoming the nightmare reality that billions of humans must suffer through. I have warned you, so now it is up to the rest of you to fight to save us from the dastardly doings of Sergey Brin and the ungodly Chinese government.

Tell me it ain’t so
If you click on the above graphic maybe someone can explain for me how a video put up on May 13, 2006 has 3244 ratings and roughly only 4000 views? Last week as video recorded approximately three half-million views. That would be before I posted the Duncan Hunter blooper. Please tell me it ain’t so. Obviously my Google video stat counter has not been fixed.
The other weird part, I know of three sites linking to the Duncan Hunter blooper video on Youtube, and as of three days later, not a stinking one of them is being reported as a linking site in YouTube stats on the video. The video which also happens to be the Duncan Hunter blooper video. Tell me it ain’t so Sergey.
Below is the first video in a series that now already numbers five. This video was not made in relation to the Duncan Hunter blooper video; it is just a general piece of silliness for a new character I am unfurling. More accurate would be to say an old character I am recycling.
While the video has absolutely no relationship to what I’m talking about above either, I thought it would be highly appropriate to post it now, in real damn close association with it. You cannot keep a good man down, and you cannot kill an idea.

Sergey Brin and the Duncan Hunter blooper video
If you click on the photo to the immediate left, you will see I had a rather interesting visit yesterday. I do not for one moment, think that this was a mischievous meandering by Sergey Brin. I am not disturbed either by the thought that someone might dislike me. What I am concerned about, is that someone might make the mistake of thinking that I am not being serious with this entire Duncan Hunter blooper thing.
My wife and I have gotten involved with a local food kitchen. While there may be an addict, or mental patient having a meal there, this food kitchen is predominantly serving people who were farming at one point or people who were working in manufacturing jobs locally. The farmers were run out business by grotesquely cheap imported produce. Those who were working on an assembly-line got to stand there and watch their jobs gets sent overseas primarily so their employer could jack up their profits.
Our politicians have repeatedly accepted campaign contributions from these corporations, and then quietly stood there and watched the exodus of jobs exhibiting about as much compassion as a telephone pole. Our middle class is shrinking and more people are appearing on the sad side of the poverty line. If no one forces our politicians to make campaign promises regarding the regular American worker, there is no way that the same politicians will ever be held accountable. They will continue accept massive campaign contributions, and profit from book deals, speaking engagements, and lobbying fees after their careers are over.
Sergey, you and Larry Page went straight from college to the country club. I am so incredibly happy for you, as you guys are one of the tiny few actually enjoying the so-called American dream. Millions of hard-working loyal Americans are suffering, and more are added to their ranks each day. If you have any doubts, consider this a formal offer for both of you to roll up your sleeves, and come down and help me serve dinners to starving Americans for just one meal, so you can see it for yourself.
I might use humor occasion, and I may have even used it in the Duncan Hunter blooper, but make no mistake, I am totally serious about what I’m doing. I am trying to help the American people, and I encourage everyone to either lead, follow, or get out of the way.
P.S. By the way Sergey, my Google video stats now show 4361 all-time views. A week ago it was closer to 14 frikkin' million all time views. What is up with that?

Update on “The Duncan Hunter blooper”
First off, I would like to thank everyone who has posted the video on their web site, and/or who has subscribed to my account at Youtube. As I told Daveawayfromhome yesterday, these little gestures count big-time not only because they help get the video out to more people, but because it’s much more difficult to shoot down a million tiny targets than one big one. The video pushed over 1000 views in just two days, and I have now wired everything to point at the original post on the story, so you can check back on it in the archives, on a regular basis.
I took the liberty today of contacting the AFL-CIO. I figured if anyone should support the American worker, it would be them, and I will gladly provide you with updates on any responses that I have received from them. You would certainly hope that the AFL-CIO supports the American worker, considering the few manufacturing, especially union related jobs that are left.
I will again paste the video below this post, so that those that have not seen it, are quite able to do so. I’m still asking anyone who actually cares about the American worker, to grab the code from YouTube, and paste it on your site. This will help by increasing the links to the video, which will allow YouTube to feature the video on its most linked page. Anyone who subscribes to me or favorites the video, or makes a comment on the video at YouTube, also increases the chances of more views.
Again, I thank everyone who has helped out so far, keep your support coming. It may be the very last chance to force the issue of American jobs back into the 2008 elections. Without it, there is no way these clowns are going to talk about it, because they don’t look very good when they do.
